I am a visual artist based in Vancouver, BC, and I specialise in floral and landscape paintings. As someone who is inherently sentimental (I cry over commercials regularly), my highest goal is to create artwork that conveys feelings of deep belonging. I aim to give my viewers moments to pause and reflect on cherished memories and relationships.
My first memory of painting and drawing was of flowers and birds that I drew when I was 3 years old. By the age of 10, I knew I would pursue a career in the arts and design field.
Prior to becoming a full time artist, I was a graphic designer for a few years and then I was a wedding invitations designer for many years. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with the most discerning couples. My wedding invitations have won multiple awards and have been published in many prestigious publications. Working in the wedding industry gave me many opportunities to paint again and reignited my passion in painting and dreams of becoming an artist.
After years of being a sought-after wedding invitation designer, I took a big leap of faith in 2020 and started creating art collections. I launched the first one privately online, and shipped the pieces directly from my apartment studio in Vancouver. Almost immediately, I realised this was my calling.
When I am not scraping paint off my fingernails, I can be found playing with my young daughter, traveling the world or enjoying a delicious glass of wine with my husband over happy hour.
